Khairunnisa cites herself as an example of self employed women of kadak pura area. She is having 4 children. Among them 3 are daughters and only son is staying with her. She was a second wife to her husband and her husband is refused to take any responsibility of Khairunnisa but often visits them. Her son is working as a mansion on daily wage helping the family to sustain.
Earlier she used to do the Beedi making at home on daily wage to survive. She gets the material from Kharkhana(Industry) on a condition to prepare at least 150 bundles of 10 Beedies in each bundle to get Rs.30/- to Rs.40/- only. Khairunnisa at hardship was bewildered and didn’t find any way to carry on the family. That time she heard about Saadhana from her relatives of neighborhood location, enrolled into Saadhana. She says “It worked out great”. During monitoring visits of Saadhana staff she got awareness of consequences of Beedi making at home .Then she decided to invest the loan amount on selling firewood placing in front of her home itself. She is purchasing fire wood from whole sale dealers with the help of her son and selling it even on credit. Monthly her minimum profit is around Rs.1000/-.She is the client of Saadhana for the past 6 yrs. She says “as women are vulnerable should be supported. Saadhana is really doing it and created hopes to grow us step by step. In Saadhana loan policy I was quite impressed of LPF and LIC” says kairunnisa. With the profits and savings she performed her two daughter’s marriage. Later she modified her house. She is residing in a semi pucca house of 2 rooms with minimum facilities.
With a positive ripple effect Khairunnisa motivated her relatives of neighborhood localities got enrolled into saadhana. Thus Khairunnisa is a real example of hard work, sincerity and commitment   as well as epitome of self employed riding success wave.
