MARKET RESEARCH SURVEY AND ANALYSIS FOR EXPANDING MICROFINANCE OPERATIONS TO   NEW AREAS

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT

‘SAADHANA MICROFIN SOCIETY’ has been continuously scaling up its operations since beginning to enhance the present level of self- sufficiency by expanding to new markets. As per the projections for the next two years, the organization is going to reach 50,000 clients with additional financial services/products. To meet this expansion plan, the organization has planned to scale up its operations to the near by Hospet and Hubli towns of Karnataka.

With the above backdrop, Saadhana - a market - driven and demand – led MFI - has decided to conduct market research in these areas/towns to identify the market potentiality and clients’ needs so as to design client- responsive products.

I.MARKET RESEARCH SURVEY

• Financial landscaping’ in the proposed areas

• Target group borrowing strategies and prevailing interest rates.

III. PROJECT REPORT

  • Two interns are required for about two months.

  • Compulsory:  Kannada and  English. 
  • Desirable: Telugu
• MONTHLY STIPEND & REIMBURSEMENTS
  • As per the norms of the representing institution.
